Project Paulhouse is a playful, systems-driven homage to Bauhaus design, customized for its owner, Paul. We structurally demolished a bedroom wall to drastically expand the living, dining, and activity footprint, transforming a standard condo into a continuous, high-flexibility communal spatial canvas.
The interior rejects traditional staging by completely omitting the television and reducing fixed carpentry to an absolute minimum. Wrapped in a warm, woody material palette, the open layout prioritizes fluid, long-term adaptability over rigid setups, allowing the architecture to adapt to daily human habits.
By using loose, functional color elements instead of permanent built-ins, Paulhouse balances historic design rigor with a highly responsive, uncompromised, and adaptive modern lifestyle system.
